DescriptionRare lithograph on paper, signed and inscribed 'Happy G Garbo Day' by Andy Warhol, front of sheet.
Originally a gift by the artist to Gene Moore, New York, who was a leading window dresser of the 20th Century, working for Bonwit Teller for 16 years and joining Tiffany's on Fifth Avenue in 1955 where he spent the remainder of his career.
Executed circa 1954, this work is stamped by the Andy Warhol Art Authentication Board and numbered A131.1010 on the reverse (there are two horizontal creases through the middle where the work was likely originally folded into thirds).
