This work, by the Turner Prize winning artist, is an extraordinary map of his own mind. Tudor in etching style and overwhelming in content, it illustrates an imaginary island, roughly brain-shaped, surrounded by jagged seas - Schizophrenia, Delirium, Anorexia Nervosa. The countryside is dotted with labelled churches - Suffocation, Nappy, Pride, Bad Day - which represent his thoughts and neuroses. Further detailing of place names and areas provide a fascinating insight into the artist's inner thoughts.
