DescriptionFor this edition, Tracey Emin has chosen to depict one of today's most photographed and celebrated faces - that of supermodel Kate Moss. Rather than focusing on the details of Moss's now extremely familiar face, Emin has decided to expose a more personal side of the model using a line that simply traces the curve of the leg, the suggestion of an arm, and the cursory but delicate outlining of her face. In this work Emin balances the familiarity of a celebrity with an image that remains personal and intimate like much of the artist's wide-ranging practice.
