Original drawing, executed in black marker pen on the inside page of the Stedelijk Museum catalogue for Keith Haring's show there in 1986, titled 'Paintings, Drawings and a Velum'. The addition, by the artist, of a Devil's horns and tail along with Angel's halo and wings onto a childhood photo of the young artist, double exposed, showing him seemingly duplicated into twins in the same image - the Angel with raised finger castigating the Devil. Additionally, signed and dated, 'K. Haring 86', and with the artist's insignia (below the drawing). The seldom seen catalogue (quarto, 83 pages), with preface by Wim Beeren (text in Dutch and English), with external signs of wear from use on wrappers, but the interior pages (and notably the page with drawing) in near fine condition. Additionally accompanied by 4 original photos taken from the time Keith Haring spent time in Amsterdam in the period of the show opening, showing him variously, wall painting with children, painting the enormous velum which the museum still owns (and recently restored), signing books for fans and out enjoying the streets of Amsterdam. An amazing original signed drawing/package. [EACH sheet/page size: 9.5 x 12 inches].
