Unique prototype chair hand-made by Marc Newson. Painted particle board and plywood, with hand-stitched vinyl cushions. This unique chair will be included as 'MN-1PC-c1982' in the forthcoming catalogue raisonné of limited editions by Marc Newson, currently being prepared by Didier Krzentowski of Galerie Kreo, Paris. Newson remarked, "I made this piece in Sydney around 1982 before I started Art School. The design was heavily influenced by Memphis. The piece is an edition of 1."
