A rare 'Floating Feather' sculpture with a yellow feather.
Shiro Kuramata sourced various feathers for his acrylic resin furniture projects - approximately 100 feathers in yellow and white were surplus after the furniture project editions were completed and the feathers were then utilised to present them individually in acrylic resin sculptures.
It is understood only 100 examples in total were ever produced and these form the legacy of the last historic 'feather' elements of the furniture projects.
With the 'Kuramata Design Office' sticker attached to the base.
